Recipe of the Month – August 2015

Desserts: Avocado Cream

Although this recipe is in my cookbook, I thought it this would be a good time to bring it out as a recipe of the month. If you like avocados (or if think you don’t) wait until you taste this cool, smooth dessert.

I won a dessert contest with this years ago in Miami, the judges said they were not impressed until they tasted it and immediately gave me the grand prize.
Oh and P.S. it doesn’t get any easier than this.

Ingredients 
1 large ripe avocado
1 can Eagle sweetened condensed milk
grated fresh nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla

Instructions 
Peel and pit avocado, cut into sections and place in blender or food processor with milk and vanilla.

Blend until smooth and divide into four to six parfait glasses. Chill at least 2 hours.

Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg when ready to serve.
