Baby spinach & Belgian endive with Sesame-Soy Dressing

Salads: Baby spinach & Belgian endive with Sesame-Soy Dressing

Ingredients 
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic
2 tsp sesame seeds
1½ teaspoons sesame oil
1/8 tsp salt
1½ cups vegetable oil

Instructions 
Combine first 8 ingredients in container of an electric blender or food processor; process until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides. With blender running, gradually add oil in a slow, steady stream; cover and chill. Just before serving, toss with baby spinach and Belgian endive. Top with toasted sesame seeds (browned slightly in a hot pan without any oil) or brightly colored edible flowers.
